Jennifer Hudson received a helping hand from a very unlikely source in the wake of her family tragedy – Donald Trump.
Jennifer and some of her family stayed at Chicago’s Trump International Hotel & Tower, and Trump picked up the tab. “They’re safe,” Trump said Monday night to people. “She’s a great girl and we’re going to protect them.” Hudson stayed at the hotel since arriving in Chicago on the 24th of October-the day her mother, Darnell Donerson, and her brother, Jason Hudson, were found murdered and her nephew, Julian King, went missing. The Oscar winner and former “American Idol” star has rarely left the hotel since checking in. “She’s still in shock,” said a source. “She didn’t go out much and she’s got a lot of security.”
