‘This is the greatest guy’: Trump meets FedEx courier, offers him $10,000. The unlikely meeting between Donald Trump a 24-year-old from rural Illinois occurred before a concert at the Lincoln Memorial.

A lucky volunteer from the Trump campaign was surprised at the Inauguration Eve concert with seats in the front row. The surprise soon became much more significant, however. Shane Bouvet, a single father from Illinois, had the opportunity to meet President Donald Trump, who gave him a $10,000 check for cancer treatment for his father. The 24-year-old was a guest on Monday to talk about this life-changing experience on “Fox & Friends. ” “He (Trump) is such a genuine, caring, loving person who cares about the Americans,” Bouvet told Ainsley Earhardt. “I don’t know how I’ll ever repay him for what he did for my father and gave him that extra fight.”

Bouvet said he received a call from a Trump staffer before the inauguration said the president-elect had read an article about him in the Washington Post and was inspired by his story. During the concert, a member of the Secret Service escorted Bouvet to meet the president. He called his father, and Trump got to talk to his father on the phone.

Trump then wrote Bouvet a $10,000 check for chemotherapy treatments for his father. ” Thank you Donald Trump for everything you’ve done for my father… you’re such a great guy, and you’re going to be America’s best president, “Bouvet said.
